Holiday Party Prep

The worst thing about an economic downturn is the significantly reduced budget for holiday parties.

Last year the holiday party was at the Red Lion Hotel with full dinner entres and a full, open bar.

This year they put up a tent on the studio lot and are serving finger foods and have provided a full bar with two drink tickets per person.

This presents a significant challenge to my holiday party strategy

Regarless, here's what we're doing to prepare:

  • Gladstone is fucking Louisa who's the assistant to Skeffington's executive assistant. Skeffington is the CEO of our division and his office is in charge of printing and distributing the drink tickets. Gladstone talked Louisa into giving him an advanced copy of the drink ticket. We now have counterfeit copies of the drink ticket. We are also selling these tickets at about half the price of a mixed drink.
  • I have scouted out lush conference rooms around the lot. On Thursday I'll jury rig the locks with tape so that they don't lock that night. These locations will serve as "hotel rooms".
  • I have planted the contention seed with both Blair and Maricruz. They're both a little pissed at me right now. I'll bring it home on Thursday before the party so that they both have even more in common: hating me. Then maybe they'll console each other in a bi-curious way.
  • More pre-prep with Ha-Neul the Hardlines Coordinator, Jenny Pengilly's Assistant, Minoo the HR Coordinator, and Lecia Manager of Home Furnishings.

More prep tomorrow. And that's the latest update....

More to prepare tomorrow.
